WORKING SABBATICAL by Maria Tello
Change What’s In The Way.
A confidential space to gain clarity, energy, or change — without stepping away from daily life.
— Come back yourself, lead from there.
-
Through Working Sabbatical, I help executives and professionals regain clarity, energy, and grounded direction while remaining fully engaged in their work and lives.
I designed it to support people navigating ongoing responsibility, where the cumulative effects of pressure begin to shape not only their work, but also their vitality, motivation, and the internal stance from which they lead.
This is a deeply attentive, thoughtfully structured collaboration that helps to bring forward the internal conditions for greater clarity and renewed possibility.
It is especially relevant for those who have to perform at a high level while sensing that something important is ready to shift.

This work often supports executives and professionals who are highly capable, deeply committed, and trusted in their roles — often carrying more responsibility than most people realize.
They continue to perform at a high level, even as something internally begins to feel different.
Over time, ongoing responsibility accumulates — across work, relationships, and unspoken expectations. What once felt manageable may begin to show up as diminished vitality, a quiet loss of clarity, or the sense that something important is missing.
Often they have already invested in leadership development, coaching, personal growth, or other forms of support.
And yet, the feeling remains that continuing in the same way is no longer sustainable.
This work is especially relevant for those who cannot step away from responsibility, yet recognize that something important is ready to shift.
-
This work takes place as a private one-to-one space, designed to integrate into the realities of leadership and daily life — not add to them.
Sessions are confidential, structured, and deeply attentive. We don't drive toward a fixed outcome — the work starts with you, with what's actually going on, and supports the conditions from which clarity and vitality naturally arise.
Over time, the patterns that shape how responsibility is carried begin to shift — optimizing how they lead, relate, and make decisions.
The work is grounded in the understanding that meaningful change rarely happens in isolation, or in a single conversation — it happens in presence and relationship, over time.
About
Maria Tello
Maria Tello works with people navigating pressure and sustained responsibility — often at a level where the demands are many, and the personal cost of meeting them isn't always visible.
Drawing on more than a decade of advanced training in somatic and human development and years of experience leading global projects, Maria helps individuals and groups regain the conditions from which sustained leadership and energy emerge.
Maria came to this work twenty years ago, after trying other approaches to change. What eventually helped her was working with professionals who had developed a hard-earned, rare skill and presence — the kind that made a kind of change possible that nothing else had reached.
That experience, and the rigorous training that followed to develop those same skills, became the foundation of Working Sabbatical — a space built on the understanding that meaningful change happens in relationship, and that changing what's actually in the way becomes possible within it.
